" Ways of Worldmaking " (Nelson Goodman)

If the image of the sea evokes a fluid horizon, an unbroken space, the one about the Mediterranean contains invisible layers of journeys, paths, and endless ruptures; the liquid form (a symbol of freedom and movement) becomes solidified space. In this exhibition, Safâa Erruas continues to propose a field of reflection, imagination, and emotion centered on the metaphor of liquid and solid as forms of changing geographical representations, as well as the movements and narratives that traverse them.

This work explores the intrinsic link between space, form, and memory: space is conceived as the continuum of movement, while form introduces a rupture in this movement, thus creating an obstacle and a boundary, both for sight and touch, illustrating the materialization of the flows and stories we carry within us. At the same time, it opens possibilities for new horizons to imagine.
